Consider craft parties are great and can be really sustainable, decorate a plant pot and take a plant or seeds home!

Instead of party food boxes, serve the food on trays or plates that the children help themselves, this also reduces food waste and saves money!

Avoid individually wrapped items - buying larger packs of items saving plastic

Avoid balloons, these are plastic and helium balloons are often lost, littering the environment.

Collaborate with other party guests to buy a single, large present rather than buying lots of small separate gifts

Ask for the bags to be returned for reuse by the next party organiser in your group
