What Is A Plastic Free Champion?

One of the aims of the Plastic Free Community is to help local, independent businesses eliminate three single-use items and plan to tackle others.

You will need to show evidence of the reductions, which can be done using photos and uploading them to the community site.

This can be retro-fitted, so if you have already reduced your single use plastic, that already counts! You’ll just need to evidence it.

Why Be A Plastic Free Champion?

Becoming a Champion will help your business by informing customers of your journey to helping the planet in reducing single use plastic.

We will add your business to this site (with your permission of course) to help customers see that you are committed to reduce single use plastic and make sure that all our members know that you are a Champion on our Facebook page.

You will also receive a certificate and plaque that you can display on your premises.

Registering Your Business to become a Champion

Simply click on the link below which will take you to the Plastic Free Community page to register.
You will receive log in details to the online portal from the Plastic Free Community in 2-3 weeks. This will allow you to log on and add details to gain accreditation.
You can retrofit. If you have already removed single use plastic, that can be part of your three items.
